Full Journal pdf2000-04-30 House Journal Page 3658 SB 212 A message dated April 30, 2000, was read stating the Senate has failed to concur in the House amendment to: CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 212(FIN) am "An Act authorizing the commissioner of fish and game, with the concurrence of the Board of Fisheries or the Board of Game, to award grants for habitat restoration, access, or enhancement projects; and providing for an effective date." namely, HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 212(FIN) "An Act authorizing the commissioner of fish and game to award grants for habitat restoration or enhancement projects; and providing for an effective date." (New title to be authorized by HCR 26) and respectfully requests the House to recede from its amendment. In the event the House fails to recede, the President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the House to consider the bills: Senator Halford, Chair Senator Mackie Senator Hoffman Representative Green moved that the House recede from its amendment to CSSB 212(FIN) am, namely, HCS CSSB 212(FIN), and recommended that the members vote no. 2000-04-30 House Journal Page 3659 SB 212 The question being: "Shall the House recede from its amendment to CSSB 212(FIN) am?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 212(FIN) Recede YEAS: 4 NAYS: 32 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 4 Yeas: Coghill, Kohring, Ogan, Sanders Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cissna, Cowdery, Croft, Davies, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Halcro, Harris, James, Joule, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Moses, Mulder, Murkowski, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Smalley, Therriault, Whitaker Absent: Hudson, Kapsner, Kookesh, Williams And so, the House failed to recede. Pursuant to Uniform Rule 42(a), the Speaker appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the Senate to consider the above bills: Representative Bunde, Chair Representative Morgan Representative Davies The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate.
